Meet our summer 2021 intern team:
Laurie Grobe is a journalism and museum studies senior at UT Austin, and is currently an intern for the Lady Bird podcast. They love stories with a twist ending and collecting more books than they need.
Jackie Ibarra is a third-year journalism major from San Antonio, Texas. When she’s not working she enjoys making her own sweet cream cold foam, reading and naming her plants.
Ana Goodwin is a senior at the University of Texas studying journalism. When she’s not working on podcasts she enjoys traveling, baking, and hanging out with her dog, Eleanor Woofsevelt.
Cecilia Garzella is a junior studying journalism at the University of Texas at Austin. A lover of cheesecake and nighttime thunderstorms, she enjoys road-tripping, binge-watching Twin Peaks and curating Spotify playlists during her downtime.
Jennifer Xia is a journalism junior at UT Austin. Her hunger for storytelling is as strong as her craving for hot Cheetos. When she’s not daydreaming about how to decorate her apartment, she’s burrowing deeper into how to tell a good story from the heart. Find her work here.
Hannah Ortega is a senior journalism and rhetoric/writing double major at UT Austin. She enjoys podcasting, creative writing, horseback riding and voice acting.
