Crooked Power
Finally, our very own student-led podcast series, hosted by Cesar Perez and Maya Fawaz details the events of the Ecuadorian national police protests in 2010. These episodes focus on Ecuador’s largest newspaper, El Universo, and its reaction to the national cut of media coverage on the debacle. In this series, The Drag tells the story of the newspaper family that fought back against a tyrant, with dire implications for their family and for press freedom across the Americas.
