Haley Butler
A year before The Drag was founded, Haley produced her own podcast about forgotten women’s histories in the closet of her rundown student apartment. Today, she works alongside her co-director Tinu on the Orange Tree and co-teaching a journalism capstone class on audio storytelling.
Tinu Thomas
Tinu joined The Drag as a Director of Audio when it was a budding operation. Along with her co-director Haley Butler, Tinu spent a year reporting, writing, and producing The Orange Tree, The Drag’s debut long-form podcast. Despite her passion for producing clean audio, Tinu’s favorite sound is the crackle before the start of an old film.
